A concertina six door cabinet with a black marble top and set on a brass metal plinth, designed by Paul McCobb for Calvin Furniture's, Irwin Group Collection, 1950s.


Paul McCobb (1917-1969) was a furniture designer in New York from the late 40s. He worked with simple lines and materials, for many companies during his career. Most notably his Planner line for Winchendon was among the best selling lines of the 1950s. Many of his other lines were produced by Calvin Furniture including the Irwin Group. 


Marble top has a previous repair, otherwise in great condition.
