A fused art glass clock with lacquered metal hands, designed by Higgins for General Electric, 1960s. The base of the clock is removable so it can be either wall hung or table based.

Michael Higgins (1908-1999) and Frances Higgins(1912-2004) met in Chicago and were married in 1948. They had a fascination of modern glass fusing. Their works appeared in upscale retail stores and they were recognized as pioneers in their field due to the uniqueness of the fused glass objects they produced.
