A pair of heavy neoclassical style lamps with black steel curling details and nickel plated urn with darted rim set on a stepped steel and nickel base with scrolled nickel feet, 1950s.
The Stiffel lamp company was founded in 1932, in Chicago by Ted Stiffel. Their lamps were uniquely designed and of high quality metals and finishes. They were usually slender and graceful and because the metals were of high quality, they were heavy.
